This is a great icing option if you are wanting to reduce sugar but still have nice creamy icing.

Base Recipe:

  • 50g softened butter
  • 150g cream cheese (I use Philadelphia Original)
  • 1/8 Tsp powdered stevia.


Instructions:

  1. Place all ingredients in a bowl and beat with an electric mixer until light and fulffy.


Flavours:

  • Lemon - To base recipe add: 2 tsp finely grated lemon rind, 2 Tbs lemon juice and 1 tsp raw honey - Beat.
  • Orange Chocolate - To base recipe add: 2 Tbs cocoa powder and 2 Tbs freshly squeezed orange juice, 1 tsp pure maple syrup - Beat.
  • ChocolateTo base recipe add: 2 Tbs cocoa powder, 1 Tbs vanilla extract, 1 tsp pure maple syrup - Beat.
  • Raspberry - To base recipe add: 1/4 cup fresh or thawed frozen raspberries, 1 tsp raw honey - Beat.
  • Raspberry and Lemon - To base recipe add: 2 tsp finely grated lemon rind, 2 Tbs lemon juice, 1/4 cup fresh or thawed frozen raspberries and 1 tsp raw honey - Beat.
